Nintendo is one of the oldest game developers out there. And becuase of this, they have made some very well know characters,
such as Zelda, Yoshi and Samus. But they all pale in conparison to their most famous character: Mario.Well, he is back in
another fun filled adventure. This time, he is taking on NASCAR with Mario Kart DS.
This game is a very fun game that really deleviers in what it promises, racing. It's racing is very solid that has the usual
assortment of weapons. YOu hit little item markers, that gives you a random item. It racing has very nice physics that doesnt
slide alot. You can do it if you want to, though, but you dont spend most of your beggining time in donuts. It does not have
a very good single player, storywise. It has no story and races against the computer are very easy. I managed to get first
in every race within 30 minutes of picking this title up.
Where this game really delivers is the multiplayer. If you have wireless internet, prepare to be glued to the DS for
a while. The DS is definatly WI-FI oriented, becuase I could set up the wireless interent to go to the DS in 5 minutes. I
selected to multiplayer option and got a game fairly quicly. It was hard, but fun and challenging.
